BMW M3 marker drawing by auto-concept BMW M3 marker drawing by auto-concept
Marker drawing of an M3 done in Pantone Tria markers. Although done on marker paper it had a bit more grain than i normally use so gave a slightly fuzzt feel on the paintwork, but i dont think its too detremental to the piece. The colour of the car and the sky and sun reflections still give it a fairly sharp look...i think, lol
Anyway, i'm happy with it fro a change..so hope you like:D

I know its an old drwaing, but how did you do the white reflections? they just seem way too bright to be only the blank paper O_o

Wow, really like how you make it shine so much.

One question: do you use compass and French-curves to draw out the lines or is it completely free-hand?

wow! I was reading through the comments and I think it is very interesting what you did with the pastels. I haven't been successful so far with the art markers but I might give it a shot again sometime.

I just used about 5 or 6 different cool greys and then pastel and chalks over the top smoothed in with talcum powder.:)

talcum powder ?? woah ive never heard of that tecniqe before?? how does it work ?

If you get some chalky pastels and scrape them onto the drawing with a knife to get a powder, add talc to it to soften it and then rub in with a cotton pad or similar. Any bits that youve gone too far on, you can rub out with an eraser.
